Module 1 is two-day intensive study Module aimed at Overseas Trained Professionals who are seeking employment in Australia. This interactive Module provides opportunities for participants to receive personal and individual support.
Module 1 will be held at the same time as Module 5 to allow all families equal opportunities to participate.

• Professional Opportunities in Australia
• Sources of Employment Information
• Writing a Letter of Application
• Constructing a Curriculum Vitae
• Interview Techniques
• Communication Skills
• Colloquial Australian
This part of the website contains an overview of Module 1. We suggest that you familiarise yourself with the Module in advance so you can get the maximum benefit when you attend. You will require internet access and our staff are happy to advise you if necessary.
On completion of Module 1, there will be on-line support to assist you in the completion of your Curriculum Vitae.
If you require additional ongoing support (for example: reviewing a letter of application), this will form an element of ongoing mentoring programs. You may choose to enrol in the mentoring program and AAPS staff will be happy to work with you to ensure that you have a tailored package to suit your individual needs. |
