On completion of Module 2, AAPS staff will provide details of additional ongoing support through the AAPS Mentoring Program.
The Mentoring Program offers a range of customised opportunities for health care workers and their families. These include:
Support for spouses
Individual professional support
Individual personal support
These services are determined after discussing requirements with individual clients and their families.
Support can be provided through regular electronic communication, teleconferencing, videoconferencing and practice visits. Participants will therefore be provided with an individually customised package of personal and professional support. AAPS will maintain its support for clients by annual agreement.
Bill O'Reilly will be happy to discuss the Mentoring Program with any participant.
AAPS is committed to providing a range of support services for professionals wishing to practice within Australia and offers unique support to spouses and families. Our suite of services aims to equip you with the necessary skills, knowledge and attributes to allow you to make a smooth transition into the Australian workforce. Our services are customised, flexible and timely.
In order that we may fulfil this commitment we ask you to provide us with feedback on Module 2. You will be asked to complete a short questionnaire on Day 2 of the Module. Your comments will ensure that we are providing the level of support that you expect and will give us valuable insight into your professional needs.
