Aims and Objectives

Module 5 allows you the opportunity to network with professional colleagues and their partners in small groups. Each Module is available to a maximum of 16 participants therefore allowing you the opportunity to develop a personal relationship and the highest level of personal support.

  
     
 

  AIMS
On completion of Module 5 participants will:
• Have an awareness of the various sources of employment within Australia and be able to access a range of these sources
• Understand the educational system in Australia
• Be able to set goals and understand how to achieve them
• Be aware of financial planning and its role in chattels purchase
• Have skills to access formal and informal support networks
 
     

  OBJECTIVES
In order to achieve these aims, Module 5 will:
• Provide an overview of employment opportunities within Australia
• Provide an overview of education within Australia
• Allow attendees to develop individual goals and support development of strategies to achieve these goals
• Provide an overview of financial planning
• Provide guidance on chattels purchase using a hypothetical situation
• Support attendees in accessing formal and informal networks
