Module 5 is a two-day intensive study Module aimed at the partners of Overseas Trained Professionals who are looking for employment in Australia. The Module is interactive therefore allowing ample opportunity for those attending, to get personal and individual support.
Module 5 will be held at the same time as Module 1 to allow families equal opportunities to participate.
Module 5 covers the following topics:
• Living in Australia
• Employment Opportunities
• Education in Australia
• Goal Setting
• Financial Planning
• Chattels Purchase
• Developing Networks
We suggest that you familiarise yourself with the Module in advance so that you get the maximum benefit when you attend. You will require internet access and our staff are happy to advise you if necessary.
If you require additional ongoing support (for example, assistance in completing school applications, mortgage applications), this will form an element of the ongoing mentoring programs. You may choose to enrol in the mentoring program and AAPS staff will be happy to work with you to ensure that you have a tailored package to suit your individual needs. The mentoring program is provided for the benefit of both the Overseas Trained Professional and their partner; the program can be tailored to the specific needs of your family.
