The Directors and Consultants of AAPS have significant experience
in education, law and health.

 
     
Director: Dr Cockrell PhD BDS FDSRCPS FICD FPFA FADI
Deb is a registered Oral Surgeon who migrated to Australia in 1996 and has first hand experience of the various issues facing practitioners seeking to register in Australia. A leader in dental education, with her PhD focusing on the recruitment and retention of dentists in regional and rural Australia, Deb has significant expertise and experience in professional support.
     
  Director: Dr O’Reilly BDS DIP LAWS BAB, AFCHSE, CHE, FACLM
Bill has had extensive experience in national and international dentistry serving as President of the Australian Dental Association and on International Committees with the FDI and Commonwealth Dental Association. Admitted as a Barrister, he has been at the vanguard leading and directing contemporary issues facing the dental profession.
 
     
  Director: Dr Taylor OAM BDS BScDent(Hons) MScDent FICD
Jane has over twenty years experience in teaching dentistry and Oral Health in Universities in Australia, in particular the areas of restorative dentistry, endodontics and dental hygiene. She has considerable experience in assessment of Overseas Trained Dentists for entry into bridging programs and some experience with Australian Dental Council examinations.
 
     
  Consultant: Mr Baker LLB
Paul is the Solicitor Director of Guild Lawyers and has an extensive commercial law and general insurance background. Paul is one of Australia's leading lawyers in the area of insurance litigation for health professionals and his extensive experience extends to advising on corporate and ownership models for health practices, regulatory aspects and Health Act compliance issues. He also has an intricate knowledge and detailed involvement in administrative law and professional disciplinary cases and as such, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience on these issues to course participants.
 
     
 
 
     
  AAPS has also recruited teams of experienced and expert practitioners who are familiar with assessment procedures for professional registration. These teams will work with the Directors of AAPS to support practitioners throughout the clinical modules outlined below. All clinical modules are fully supported by chairside assistance.
